Objectives

Each student will learn a variety of different Body Corrective Therapy movements and methods to stimulate circulation, release areas of tightness or blockages, heal fractures and torn tendons

To ensure your success as a professional therapy practitioner, each student will learn how to feel and access changes in the bones, muscles and connective tissues by touching your clients' problem areas through Body Corrective Therapy. This means that each student can continually adjust the therapy movements to provide optimum release of the blocked or injured area for your clients instead of conforming to a therapy routine.

A brief education in body mechanics, anatomy and physiology will be taught in class to provide each student with an understanding of therapy.

Each student will learn how to locate and heal blocked or knotted areas of the body. Our bodies produce a lot of waste products (toxins) and most of these are eliminated through our urinary system. However, when the body gets injured or is experiencing long periods of stress, these toxins can become trapped in our muscles and connective tissues. We experience pain when the nerves that run through these structures get stretched or pinched because there is no freedom of movement.

Each student will have the knowledge of anatomy and physiology by being able to explain and delineate how each part of the body can be enhanced and improved with Body Corrective Therapy

Each student will learn Old Imperial Therapeutic as well as Body Corrective Therapy and will begin practical sessions on other students.

Each student will have acquired the Body Corrective Therapy method to work with a variety of clients and helping them improve their health.

Each student will benefit from my knowledge and teaching not only of their hands and legs but minds as well.

Each student will become aware of the emotional, physical and psychological changes resulting from Body Corrective Therapy

Each student will be comfortable working in a medical or recreational facility.
